  Company History

       The Thai Insurance Company Limited was established on January 11,1938 under the name of "Siam Insurance Company Limited". The first biggest Thai insurance company had been ever established.

       • In 1939, the Company’s shareholders changed the name to "The Thai Insurance Company Limited".

       • In the same year, the Company was awarded a garuda emblem and was designated as a company "Under Royal Patronage" by His Majesty the King.

       • In 1976, the Company was the first insurance company in Thailand to be registered with the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the trading symbol "TIC".

       • In 1993, the Company became a public company.
